VOLLEYBALL
7TH GRADE WHITE
The 7th Grade White Volleyball Team continued their winning streak last night against the Chelsea bears. After loosing their first set 11-25 the Broncos came back with a huge win in the second set 25-6. The third set started as the first one did and at one point the broncos were down 11-20. The match wasn't over yet. Hannah K. served 4 points in a row and then Hannah F. served 9 much needed points in row to seal the victory of 25-23 match win! Leading the team with service aces were Hannah F. with 19, Hannah K. with 9 and Taylor D. with 6. Alaina A. and Alyssa D. both had a great defensive game with 6 digs each! The lady broncos will host Tecumseh on next Monday. Come on out and show your support.
7TH GRADE RED
The 7th grade RED volleyball team handily defeated Monroe yesterday with the socres of 25-8, 25-9 and 25-11. Faith U. did an excellent job on defense, Ava G. led the team in assists and Abby D. did a nice job serving. Keep up the good work girls!
8TH GRADE WHITE
The 8th grade White volleyball team improved to 2-0 last night in a game against Chelsea. They won 25-17,25-18, and 25-11. Krista S. lead the team with 14 aces and Lillian N. added 6 Aces in the second game to get the team back in the game. Peighton B. lead the team in passing. The White team will face Tecumseh at home on Monday.
8TH GRADE RED
The 8th grade red volleyball team lost to Monroe 25-21, 23-25, 21-25.
Leaders for the team were Josie R. in serving, Grace R. in setting and Sophia G. in passing and hitting.
ART CLUB
ART CLUB
Art club will begin on Thursday September 28th and meet weekly on Thursdays in room 134 from 2:30-3:30pm. All are welcome to attend!

Our School wide Fundraiser wrapped up this weekend! Please bring in order forms on Monday, September 18th. We will be collecting them during homeroom times. Money for orders is due one week after product pickup and our pickup date is October 12th. BJHS appreciates your support in funding student activities like clubs, field trips, and other educational experiences.
Students, while the temps stay warm, be sure to dress for the weather and for our dress code here at the school. While we certainly need to stay cool, we also need to keep our shorts and shirts within the ranges set forth in the dress code.
WELCOME BACK PARTY

VOLLEY FOR THE CURE
"Volley for the Cure" forms are due to the High School by September 28, 2017 to do an "In Memory or Honor" of name. You can pre-order T-shirts or they will be sold the week of the game, October 9, 10, 11, 2017. But sizes can not be guaranteed if not pre-ordered.
Cardiovascular Testing Offered
This will be held at the High School on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Any student from 12 - 25 years old are eligible for the test. If you are interested, schedule your appointment and complete the paperwork. Go on line at www.wimbledonhealthpartners.c

EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7. 8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center. It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center Forms can be picked up in the office.
NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches.
HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
