8th HOUR
8th Hour begins tomorrow, September 12, in the media center. It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center Forms can be picked up in the office.
NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches.
DON'T FORGET BREAKFAST
Breakfast is available every day in our cafeteria..
HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
EARLY ARRIVERS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7.
DO NOT CARRY YOUR BACKPACKS TO CLASS
Just another reminder. . . Don't carry your backpacks to class. You must keep your backpacks in your locker.
PICTURE DAY
School pictures and ID's will be taken on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, during all science classes. If you wish to purchase a school picture, please be sure to complete the order form, enclose payment, and bring it to school on picture day. Students will give their order form to the photographer when they get their picture taken. Parents can also order online.
CROSS COUNTRY
The boys cross country team won the Tiffin Carnival Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 9.
There were over 72 junior high teams competing at this meet, making it one of the largest races in the country,
and the Bedford boys won! They were led by their top 5 runners Micah S, Colin B, Ethan L, Daniel S, and Preston M, Preston U, Isaiah M, Coltin C, and Kyle R all ran best times as well. The boys race in their first SEC championship meet on Wednesday on our home course at Indian Creek. Wish them luck as they go against the other 10 schools in our league.
Also, on Thursday, August 31. the boys cross country team won the Eastwood Invitational beating all 26 teams competing. They were led by 8th graders Micah S, Collin B, Ethan L, Preston M and Daniel S.. 7th grader Hussein J and 6th grader Simon V also ran great races for their first race of the season. This was the first time a Bedford team has won this race. Congrats to all the cross country boys for starting the season with a great run.
The cross country team practices everyday after school and meets by the big oak tree behind the building. Anyone who wants can still join. Just be outside after school ready to run. 6th, 7th and 8th graders are all welcome.
VOLLEY JUNIORS - VOLLEYBALL
Volley Juniors is new this year and is for 6th graders. It will be held on Monday nights at the high school beginning September 25. Flyers and forms to register are in the office.
VARSITY VOLLEYBALL
The Varsity Volleyball Team plays Dexter at home on Tuesday, September 12. It is Suicide Awareness Night and Community Night. The first 400 people will receive a hotdog and a drink with paid admission or an Athletic Pass.
