Happy Friday!
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
The boys cross country team took first place on Wednesday in the first SEC league meet of the season. They beat every other team in our league to capture the championship for the Broncos. The team was led by Ty Smith who crushed everyone to finish as individual champion! Almost everyone on the team ran best times of the season on the incredibly fast course. 7th graders Micah Scheffer and Collin Balla finished as the top two 7th graders in the league. Others who ran well were 8th grader Spencer Lingle, and 7th graders Preston Manard, Daniel Stieber, Parker Marsh, Preston Ulery, Grant Yeager, Isaiah McGee, and Brayden Powell. All of those guys ran over a minute faster than their previous best time. Amazing job guys! The boys would also like to congratulate the girls team for their SEC championship as well.
SAFETY REMINDER
When getting off of the bus in the morning, be sure to stay on the sidewalk to get to the junior high. Do not walk on the cement island.
8TH HOUR
8th hour begins Tuesday September 20, 2016. Students should wait in the front lobby and Mrs. Matlow will walk you to the media center.
CHROMEBOOKS
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break.FUNDRAISER
Our school wide fundraiser kicked off September 8, 2016. Please share the fundraiser packets with family and friends to help the school raise money. This is the only fundraiser we have. The fundraiser runs through September 21, 2016. All orders should be turned in by September 19, 2016.
If you have your completed fundraiser form here at school now, you do not have to wait until the 21st to turn it in to the office. Turn them in to the office whenever your parents send them to school.
HEALTH ROOM VISITS
You must report to your next hour teacher before coming to the health room unless it is an emergency. That way your teacher knows where you are.
