If students are attending after school events that do not start immediately after classes, they must go home and return to school when the activity begins. Please, do not leave unsupervised students at school.

Cell phones should be turned off once a student enters the building in the morning. HAT AND MUSTACHE DAY - RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISER
If you would like to wear a hat or mustache to school on Friday, bring a dollar to the cafeteria on Friday morning. Your hand will be stamped. The dollar will be donated to the Relay for Life.

7TH GRADE - ALGEBRA PLACEMENT TEST - MAKE-UP DAY - TODAY
Today is the make-up day for any 7th grader who was absent on Tuesday and wants to take Algebra in 8th grade next school year. The test will be given in the cafeteria at 8:30 a.m. Students should bring 2 #2 pencils and a calculator with them.
THE GREEN TEAM MEETS TODAY AND TOMORROW
Mr. Moore and the Green Team will meet today and tomorrow from 2:30-3:25 p.m. Friday is Global Youth Service Day. If you have any questions, see Mr. Moore in room # 202.
HIGH SCHOOL - TESTING OUT - DATE CHANGED
This is a reminder to 8th graders who would like to test out of a Freshman class next year. Applications are online and at the high school in the counseling office. Applications may be turned in May 1 through June 1.
FLAG AND TWIRLER TRYOUTS FOR MARCHING BAND 2013 - CONTINUES TODAY
Flag and twirler clinics and tryouts for Marching Band 2013 began on Monday. Tryouts will continue today, promptly at 3:30 p.m., and will end when everyone has had a chance to audition . Arrive early to get warmed-up and number assigned. Bring your signed tryout permission slip!

GIRLS' AND BOYS' TRACK
The BJHS boys' and girls' track teams will travel to participate in the Whitmer Relays. The relays begin at 4:30 p.m. There is NOT an early dismissal today. Go Broncos!
7 AND 8TH GRADE SOFTBALL
The 7 and 8th softball teams will travel to play their double headers in Saline today. There is an early 2:00 p.m. dismissal to allow for travel time.

MOTHER/DAUGHTER SPRING FLING DANCE
Welcome spring and celebrate your mom at the Mother and Daughter Spring Fling Dance on Friday, May 10, from 7-9 p.m. This will be a lot of fun for you, your friends, and your moms! There will be tasty treats, beautiful decorations, and a DJ playing your favorite songs. Flyers with more information are available in the office. Get to the Community Ed office to get your tickets! They are open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. or go to the Adult Ed office on Tuesday night from 5:00-6:30 p.m. What a great way to celebrate Mother's Day.
