RESULTS - MICHIGAN LEAGUE COMPETITIVE MATH CONTEST - CONGRATULATIONS
The results are in for the 2012/2013 Michigan League Competitive Math Contest. Congratulations to all who took this very challenging test. Your test will be given to your math teacher to return to you. The top scorers were as follows:

7TH AND 8TH GRADE GIRLS' BASKETBALL
Dexter
gold defeated the 7th grade Bedford red girls basketball team
19-6. Kaitlyn Scurlock led with 5 rebounds. Angel Simon had 3
steals and Ali Cousino led the scoring.

8th grade red basketball team defeated Dexter Gold 11-9. Kristin Hill,
Samantha Synowka, and Isabella Prizing all had key baskets.

7th grade white basketball team defeated Chelsea Blue 28-14. Lynsey Spotts led
in scoring with 15 points. Olivia Cook and Kalliyan Lagger also led in
scoring. Paige Harper and Madalyn Birmingham led a great defensive
effort.

8th grade white basketball team avenged its only loss on the season by beating
Chelsea Blue 17-13. Brynn Duvall led the way with a double double.
Ashley Wagenhauser, Alexa Libstorff, Alexis Harpel, and Erika Wilt also played
well.
BJHS/BEDFORD LIBRARY - ART CONTEST - CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations
to 3 of our junior high art students. Last night, at the Bedford Young
Arts For Our Future Show, 7th grader Maison Hullibarger received the
Best Student Award for the junior high. Also, 6th grader Alexia
Przyojski and 7th grader Mackenzie Kruszka were tied for the Most
Popular Award. Congratulations, again, to all of our BJHS art students who
were chosen to be part of the show. If you missed the show last night ,
it is not too late to see our artists work. The show will be on display
throughout the month of March at the Bedford Public Library.
7/8TH GRADE GIRLS' AND BOYS' TRACK
The first day of track practice is Monday March 18, 2013..
ALL track athletes MUST have a current physical on file to begin practice . If this is your first sport for the school year, you NEED to pick up a physical form from Coach Bauer in the health room or in the JHS office. This MUST be filled out by your doctor before the first day of track practice.
Girls interested in being on the Track and Field team should sign up with Coach Bauer in the health room or Coach Davis in Room # 2.

Join the Soiree! Become a Soiree Junior Singer! This is your chance to share the spotlight and share the joy of performing at Bedford High School. There will be TWO performances just for the Soiree Juniors and the Soiree Singers along with some special guest performances. Students will also have an opportunity to perform as a soloist through special auditions called "Bedford Junior Idol". Soiree Junior will perform live on stage on March 22, and 23, at 8:00 p.m. Students will receive a Soiree junior T-shirt to keep, two free tickets to the show, one free ticket to see Bedford Idol on March 18, a chance to win a pair of tickets to the upcoming shows at the Huntington Center, Fisher Theatre, etc., and have lots of fun with the members of the Soiree Singers and Mr. Smith.
