It's that time of year! It is time to order your yearbook! The cost is $40. Place your yearbook order early; the price will be going up in December. Yearbooks may be purchased during lunch or in Dr. Robinson's room # 130.
NJHS OFFICERS' MEETING - TODAY DURING 4TH HOUR
National Junior Honor Society Officers should report to their 4th hour class for attendance and then to Mr. Allison's room, 124, for their meeting. They should bring their lunch with them.
FOOTBALL
The 8th grade red football team won a defensive slug fest last night in the Bedford Community Stadium by a score of 8-0 over Dexter. Monster defensive efforts were given by all with crushing hits coming from Marcus Sandoval, Alex Pisanti, Chris Augustyniak, Brady Nowak, and Joey Stoner. The red offense was able to march down the field and score on a two-yard touchdown plunge by Alex Pisanti which was followed up by a two-point conversion by the allusive, Brady Nowak.
The 7th grade red team lost to Dexter last evening in the Bedford Community Stadium by a score of 6-0. Great defense was played throughout the game. Outstanding efforts were given by the entire defense line.
The Red teams will take on Tecumseh at Tecumseh next week Tuesday, October 16, 2012,
The 7th grade white football team won against Chelsea 44-0.
The 8th grade white team won last night. They beat Chelsea 52-14.
VOLLEYBALL
Last Monday night, the 8th grade red volleyball team defeated Ypsilanti 25-14, 25-5, 25-7. Saige Phillips had 9 digs and 3 kills. Claire Moran served well with 10 points (7 aces) and had 2 kills. Kristin Hill had 5 points, 1 kill, and 5 digs. Nice job ladies!
Good luck to the white volleyball teams. Today they take on Saline Blue beginning at 4:15 p.m.
The red volleyball teams will travel to play Tecumseh. They have a 2:15 p.m. dismissal to allow for travel time.
CROSS COUNTRY
Good luck to the girls and boys cross country athletes. They will run in Jamboree # 3 in Saline.
The cross country athletes also have an early 2:00 p.m. dismissal!

LEOS – YMCA
Would you like something fun and meaningful to do? If so, you are invited to join the YMCA Leos Club. The Leos Club is a fun and energetic group that spends its time volunteering and learning leadership skills. They help out with YMCA sports and events, do community service, and go on trips and service weekends. They meet every Tuesday at 6:30 at the YMCA." The group is a big part of many Jr. High and High School lives. There are dues for Leos but they are really flexible on when they are to be paid. As of right now, they are due around the same time Christmas break is; and they are $25. There is no date of which students have to be registered by. Each month we run Teen Night on the third Saturday. Teens are invited to come and participate in activities that include swimming, dodge-ball, basketball, Xbox, etc. Entrance is $5 at the door.
