Today is the 166th day of school. There are 5 days remaining.


END OF THE YEAR PARTY!
The end of the year party is this Friday, June 7th from 5-7pm. Buy your wrist bands at lunch or at the door for only $5. The party will include a 30 foot slip n slide and a 60 foot obstacle course. We will have Chick-Fil-A sandwiches for sale along with pop and water. Music will be played by our amazing student council DJ's. See you Friday!

BEDFORD SIDELINE CHEER TRYOUTS
High School tryouts (8th graders): June 3-5 from 5-7 pm, high school new gym

For tryouts athletes must wear Bedford colors, cheer or tennis shoes, and no jewelry throughout all of tryouts! All participants must have a current physical on file. Physical MUST be from on or after April 15th.  NO EXCEPTIONS. Go to the office for more details and paperwork.

EQUESTRIAN CLUB
The Equestrian club informational meeting will be held on June 6th in the high school media center from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

BOYS TENNIS
Any 8th grade boy interested in playing Tennis in the fall, there will be a meeting after school on Tuesday 6/4 at the high school tennis courts until 4:30. Be prepared to play that day. 

2019/2020 FOOTBALL
Next Tuesday, June 4th, Mr. Vickers the football coach will be here to meet our players.

At 10:30, all 8th graders intending to play freshman football will meet in the media center.


At 11:00, all 7th graders who have 4th hour homeroom should meet in the media center.


At 11:30, all 6th graders and 5th hour homeroom 7th graders should meet in the gym.

Summer Test Out Applications for High School Classes for 2019-2020 Freshmen 
Summer test out applications are due to the high school's main office on Friday, May 24 by 2:30 pm. Forms can be found on the Counseling page of the high school website (You can use the Counseling tab in the navigation bar at the top of their home page.) No late registration forms will be taken this year. Please have your form and money in on time. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Schultz in high school room B2.


While you can select a preferred week of testing, you must be available to make an appointment to test out on any day of that week. 


Testing Weeks:


Week 1: July 22 - July 26


Week 2: July 29 - August 2

Any available study materials can be picked up in the high school office June 17 - June 28.

COMMUNITY ED.
Glow Bowling - Boys get your moms and join us for a fun night of glow bowling and pizza at Forest View Lanes on June 7. Tickets are on sale in the Community Education Office

VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMP
Volleyball summer camp flyers are in the office. Camp is Monday through Thursday, June 17-20th from 12-2:30 at the high school for incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. Please register early so you are left out. 

CHROMEBOOKS
Please remind students to be careful with their Chromebooks, and keep a watchful eye out for kids abusing them.

REMINDER 
Just a reminder to students - cell phones are not to be used during the day to text or call their parent to come pick them up when they are not feeling well.  (Please do not email either). Students are to come to the health room.  You can use the student phone located in the office.  Too many parents are showing up for their sick student and the health room/office is not aware.  Please see your Student Handbook regarding use of Cell Phones.
