STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Regnier chose Grace C. as our Student of the Week. Grace is a sweet girl with a kind heart. She is a hard worker with a great attitude. She is always striving to do her best. She doesn't complain and is always willing to help others. She has a contagious smile and brings a positive attitude to class everyday.
MATH-A-THON
Any student who still has Math-a-thon pledges, please bring them to room 23. Thank you to all students who participated in helping St. Jude Hospital help kids with cancer.
Once again, congratulations to all students who took this year's Math League Test. The top 5 scores in each grade are combined to form a team score to compete against other schools. The team scores are then compared with other schools who took the tests. the results are:
6th grade placed 17th overall, with a team score of 91 points; and placed 1st in our region
(9 counties).
7th grade placed 15th overall, with a team score of 105 points; and placed 2nd in our region.
8th grade placed 16th, with a team score of 102 points, and placed 2nd in our region.
In addition:
6th grader, Jada N placed 2nd in our region
8th grader, Braden G placed 3rd in our region
Great job!
ACADEMIC BANQUET
Congratulations to the students who were invited to the Academic Banquet. If you have your dinner reservation form, please bring it to the office.
BOARD GAME CLUB - MEETS TODAY
Do you want to have fun hanging out with with friends? Do you like to compete? Every Friday, after school, Board Game Club meets in room # 131. They will be playing board games, collectible card games, chess, and many more. Bring any games you would like to play and a friend. Gaming last until 4:00 p.m., so be sure to have a ride home.

RECYCLING AT BJHS
Stop.... don't throw away your old , dried up markers!
We are excited to participate in collecting and converting our markers into clean energy.
Teachers, this also includes dry erase markers. There is a container behind the door monitor, please put all old markers in this container!
Together, we are helping our planet one handful of markers at a time!
ALL MULES MATTER
All mules matter meets every Monday during homeroom time in the media center with Mrs. Mihalec.
JUGGLING CLUB
Juggling club will not be meeting until further notice.
CHARITY CLUB
Charity club will not be meeting until further notice.
BUS NOTES
Bus notes need to be brought to the office in the morning to be stamped before school starts. Absolutely no notes will be stamped after the afternoon announcements. If the note is not stamped you will have to ride your normal bus home.
EXIT PASSES
Exit passes can be given if a written note from home is turned into the office. All notes are to be brought to the office before school starts so your exit pass can be written. Then you are to report to the door monitor at the time indicated on your pass. Once your ride arrives you can exit the build to go to your appointment. You CAN NOT exit the building without a pass. Make sure to turn your note into the main office before the morning bell so they can issue you a exit pass.
BACKPACKS
Just another reminder. . . Don't carry your backpacks to class. You must keep your backpacks in your locker.
EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7.
8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center. It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center Forms can be picked up in the office.
NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone must be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches.
HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
