Ms DePorre chose Chase B. as our student of the week. Chase is a wonderfully caring and polite young man who always brings a positive attitude to class. His creativity and motivated personality are incredible assets to the classroom. He is a terrific friend, a hard worker, and is an absolute joy to have in class!

7TH WHITE
The boys 7th grade white team got stung at Saline yesterday 16 - 11 as the Broncos ran out of time in their comeback. Andrew H had 7 points; Jimmy F scored 4 and had 3 assists; Trystin H and Griffin W each had 3 points; and Simon E had 2 points. The white teams will next play at Monroe Monday with the 7th grade beginning at 4:15.
7TH RED
Bedford red 7th grade lost to Saline Gold 22-17. Evan Campbell finished with a team high 14 points. Tommy H dropped in 6. Dylan H hit his first 3 pointer of the season.
8TH WHITE
Bedford white defeated rival Saline 19 to 12. Great team patience and scrappy defense by all. The Broncos were led in scoring by Hayden F and Micah S. Also contributing points were Ethan B, Daniel S, Dillon D and Chase H. Cameron S and Chace C added to a great overall floor game. Great win !
8TH RED
Bedford 8th grade red lost to Saline Gold 28-9.
SWIMMING
The Bedford Junior High Swim/Dive team took to the pool last night and came home with a Big victory. They beat Ypsilanti Community Schools by over 100 points and won every race, sometimes finished 1,2,3 in races. At the first meet of the season, we had a number of State Qualifications already! Ethan T, Ava B, Lindy S, and Kaylee S all qualified in individual races. Two team relays also qualified. This was a great start of a season for all the new and experienced swimmers and divers on the team. The next meet is at Chelsea next Wednesday!
BOOK FAIR
The Book Fair starts next week Dec. 4th-8th, during lunch and homeroom from 10:30-12:30.
WRESTLING

Do you ever find yourself daydreaming in class? Would you like to be in a place where daydreaming is not only accepted but encouraged? Then come to Writing Club, every Thursday starting today from 2:45-3:45 in Miss DePorre’s room! It’s time to take that imagination and use it where it counts! Please be sure to have a ride home, and we'll see you there!
PENNY HOCKEY BOARDS
Do you need to buy an inexpensive Christmas gift for someone? Why not buy them a penny hockey board for only $2.00. These sturdy games were made by our very own 8th grade technology education students. They will be sold at the concession stand during all lunch hours starting Monday, December 4th. Buy one for a friend or for yourself! Get them while they last.
LACROSSE
7th and 8th grade boys lacrosse will be having a meeting from 6 to 8 on Thursday December 7th in the Jr. High gym. If you plan on playing this winter you need to be at this meeting or contact Coach Ullery beforehand. Fees and deadlines will be discussed.
Open gym for girls basketball this Sunday December 10 from 11:00-12:30 in the Junior High gym. 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls can attend.

ALL MULES MATTER
All mules matter meets every Monday during your homeroom time in the media center with Mrs. Mihalec.
BUS NOTES
Bus notes need to be brought to the office in the morning to be stamped before school starts. Absolutely no notes will be stamped after the afternoon announcements. If the note is not stamped you will have to ride your normal bus home.
EXIT PASSES
Exit passes can be given if a written note from home is turned into the office. All notes are to be brought to the office before school starts so your exit pass can be written. Then you are to report to the door monitor at the time indicated on your pass. Once your ride arrives you can exit the build to go to your appointment. You CAN NOT exit the building without a pass. Make sure to turn your note into the main office before the morning bell so they can issue you a exit pass.
DRESS CODE
Students, while the temps stay warm, be sure to dress for the weather and for our dress code here at the school. While we certainly need to stay cool, we also need to keep our shorts and shirts within the ranges set forth in the dress code.
BACKPACKS
Just another reminder. . . Don't carry your backpacks to class. You must keep your backpacks in your locker.
EARLY DROP OFFS
If you are dropped off at school before 7 a.m, you need to stay in the cafeteria with Mrs. Gibson. She will release you to your lockers at 7.
8th HOUR
8th Hour is held in the media center. It runs from 2:35 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Meet in the front lobby by the door monitor and you will be walked to the media center Forms can be picked up in the office.
NO CELL PHONES DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Students: Cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Your phone should be in your locker and turned off at 7:25 a.m. They cannot be used until 2:30 p.m. Cell phones are NOT permitted during lunches.
HEALTH ROOM RULES
Students who need to go to the health room must get a pass from the teacher they are coming from AND they should also check in with their next hour teacher to let them know where they are.
