BEDFORD JUNIOR PERFORMERS
Do you love to perform? Do you dream of being the world’s next greatest singer and dancer? Do you want a chance to show off your amazing talents and sing and dance onstage? Then join the Bedford Junior Performers! You can get your permission forms and more information from Miss DePorre in room 49 anytime this week. Looking forward to seeing and hearing your amazing talents!

ALL MULES MATTER
Just a reminder to all students participating in "All Mules Matter" today, please go to your homeroom teacher to check in for attendance then come down to the Media Center.

SOFTBALL TRYOUTS
8th grade girls softball tryouts will be held in the junior high gym from 3-5 starting March 20th, please bring all equipment needed

ROBOTICS
Are you interested in seeing the amazing Bedford Robotics Program in action?

There will be an Open House to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of Bedford Robotics on Saturday, February 18th at Smith Road Elementary.  The high school team will be revealing their robot for this season at 1:00 p.m.  Stay to explore all of our K-12 programs from 2:00-4:00 p.m.  There will also be a silent auction.

Registration for the FTC junior high robotics teams also opens on February 18th.  Go to bedfordftcrobotics.weebly.com for registration information.  See Mrs. Hemry if you have any questions.

DRESS CODE
You may not wear clothing items that are sheer without some sort of undercover.  Leggings and shirts with sheer material must have something under them so no skin shows.

TALENT SHOW
The Talent Show is February 22 from 7-8:30 in the BJHS cafeteria.

MATH LEAGUE TEST

Attention all students who signed up to take the Math League Competitive Test:  There are practice tests available for you to practice, before taking the actual test.  Talk to your math teacher about getting a practice test, or see Mrs. Brown in room 230.  Solutions are available as well.

The Math League Test is next Tuesday, February 21st (right after we come back from our long weekend). All students who are taking the Math League Test on Tuesday must bring a calculator to use. You will not be able to use your Chromebook calculator. If you want a calculator to use, you will have to bring one from home.

MICROWAVES IN LUNCHROOM
Due to the misuse of the microwaves in the lunchroom both are inoperable.
We will no longer have microwaves for students to use.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Box Top collections !! This year we will be collecting box tops and having a friendly competition between home rooms. This is an easy way to fund raise for the extra things our classrooms my need throughout the year. Just ask your students and parents to clip and save. Deposit them in the collection boxes with your homeroom name on them (or place in Mrs. Nimigean's mailbox in the high school or Mr. Muck's mailbox in the junior high).
We will collect for 3 months for each giveaway.

Winners will be awarded the first of December, March and June (top collector in each building). Make sure you get them turned in for a homeroom treat!

HANDBOOK REMINDER
Students who are leaving school early for an appointment should remember to come to the office first thing in the morning before school starts to receive an exit pass. They should not give their notes to their teachers. Do not wait until lunch to receive your exit pass.

DROP OFF ITEMS
Students, if your parents drop off items for you during the day, they will be held at the front door with our door monitor. Please listen to announcements during the class changes for your name.  At that time, you may pick up your items from the door monitor.

SAFETY REMINDER
When getting off of the bus in the morning, be sure to stay on the sidewalk to get to the junior high. Do not walk on the cement island.

CHROMEBOOKS
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break.
CHROMEBOOKS ARE BEING BROKE AT AN AVERAGE 10 PER DAY AND THE EXCUSES THAT ARE BEING GIVEN ARE MOSTLY DUE TO IRRESPONSIBILITY. WE ARE RUNNING VERY LOW ON LOANERS AND IT IS TAKING 4 WEEKS FOR A REPLACEMENT. SOON THERE WILL NOT BE ANY LOANERS TO GIVE OUT, WHICH MEANS THEY WILL NOT HAVE A CHROMEBOOK TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK WITH. PLEASE HELP US KEEP AN EYE ON HOW YOUR CHILD IS TAKING CARE OF THEIR CHROME BOOK.

HEALTH ROOM VISITS
You must report to your next hour teacher before coming to the health room unless it is an emergency. That way your teacher knows where you are.
