STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Congratulations to this week's Student of the Week, Julia L.. Julia was chosen by Mrs. Johnson because of her mature, positive attitude. She is energetic, smart, and helpful to staff and students. Her parents are Gloria and Scott. .
FOOD DRIVE - STARTS TODAY
Food drive starts Tuesday, November 22nd, and ends Friday, December 9th.
First hour teachers will collect for 7th and 8th grade
6th grade teachers will collect during homeroom.
Again the class that collects the most will receive breakfast -made by Mr. Lopinski.
The CAMP OUT TO STAMP OUT HUNGER will be held THIS evening, November 22, 2016, in front of the BJHS. Drop off cans out front and enjoy making s'mores with Mr. Lopinski and Dr. Robinson. Activities will begin at 4:30 and end at 9:00 pm. Photos with Chewy the Camel from Indian Creek, Blow Up Obstacle Course, Glow Volleyball, and Lighted Frisbee Games.

FRENCH CLUB

Then come to FRENCH CLUB! Pracice French culture, and learn how to speak French through games, movies, and activities. French Club takes place right after school from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Ms. DePorre's Classroom # 49, every other Thursday beginning December 1. Make sure you have a ride home.

BOYS' BASKETBALL
The 7th grade boys white team defeated the Indians of Tecumseh last night
19 - 15 in an exciting overtime battle. The Broncos turned up the defensive intensity to hold the Indians scoreless in overtime.
Micah Scheffer led in scoring with 11 points and made two key free throws in overtime to secure the victory.
Brayden Powell and Ethan Brickner each added 6 points
Liam Brush scored 5 points
Lawson Ewing had 3 points
Daniel Stieber and Adan Reed each added two points.
The white teams will next take on Dexter today at home with the 7th grade game beginning at 4:15.
TheBedford 7th grade red basketball team improved to 2-1 on the season with a 17-10 victory over Ypsilanti Lincoln Blue. Parker Marsh and Alex Birmingham led the defense. Noah Weiher led the scoring with 10 points.

Bedford 8th grade red won for the first time this season beating Ypsilanti Lincoln Blue 34-17. Logan Hullibarger and Brady Henderson led in scoring. Tyler Ripple and Connor Ullery led in rebounding. Joseph Dupont and Brian Heath also played well.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Box Top collections !! This year we will be collecting box tops and having a friendly competition between home rooms. This is an easy way to fund raise for the extra things our classrooms my need throughout the year. Just ask your students and parents to clip and save. Deposit them in the collection boxes with your homeroom name on them (or place in Nimigean's mailbox in the high school or Muck's mailbox in the junior high).
We will collect for 3 months for each giveaway.

HANDBOOK REMINDER
Students who are leaving school early for an appointment should remember to come to the office first thing in the morning before school starts to receive an exit pass. They should not give their notes to their teachers. Do not wait until lunch to receive your exit pass.
DROP OFF ITEMS
Students, if your parents drop off items for you during the day, they will be held at the front door with our door monitor. Please listen to announcements during the class changes for your name..At that time, you may pick up your items from the door monitor.
SAFETY REMINDER
When getting off of the bus in the morning, be sure to stay on the sidewalk to get to the junior high. Do not walk on the cement island.
CHROMEBOOKS
Students please remember to limit what you take to each class. Chromebooks can not be stacked on several books. Carrying several books increases the chance for your chromebook to slip and break.
HEALTH ROOM VISITS
You must report to your next hour teacher before coming to the health room unless it is an emergency. That way your teacher knows where you are.
