Congratulations to the following Bedford Junior High Orchestra students who participated in the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA) Virtual Solo and Ensemble Festival.  Student performances are rated by professional musicians on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being the highest and 1's and 2's receiving medals.  Congratulations to the following Junior and Senior High Orchestra students:

The Girls track team fought hard in their meet against Dexter last night with several place finishes.

55m Hurdles - 1st place Kaylin S.

200m Dash - 2nd place Vangie N., 3rd place Adelle R.

400m Hash - 3rd place Olivia E.

4x100m Relay - 2nd place team of Kiernan K, Olivia M., Vangie N. and Kaylin S.

                           3rd place team of Veda V., Tara T., Gabrielle C. and Aubrey L.

4x200m Relay - 1st place team of Kadence E., Mollie P., Kennedy D. and Olivia E.

                            2nd place team of Bella G., Kaleigh A., Madeline T. and Delaney K.

4x400 Relay - 2nd place team of Kaylee M., Adelle R., Danielle W. and Aubrey M.

                        3rd place team of Molly B., Sophia S., Macy V. and Lizzy S.

The Boys Track Team lost a very close meet yesterday to Dexter.

Dexter was 71 to Bedford's 65. The meet came down to some very close finishes across the board.

The mules swept the 200 hurdles lead by Sawyer U. and followed by Angelo L. and Brandon M. 

Owen P. had a dominating win in the 400 meter dash and also just out jumped Adam M. by 1 inch to win the Long Jump.

Caleb A. won the 55m Hurdles and is getting really close to a school record.

Jacob S. is as fast as lightening in the 200m dash. Winning this race 3 times now.

Alex B. won the Pole Vault with a 6'6" personal best.

Other athletes finishing in 2nd place in their events were as follows:

The Bedford girls track team won their meet last night against Tecumseh 86 to 32. Kaylin S., Hillary G. and Olivia M. swept the 55m Hurdles with First, Second and Third Places. Lizzy S. took Second Place in the 100m Dash. Reagan V., Kadence E., Kennedy D. and Kaleigh A. took First for the 4x200m Relay while Alexis S., Kenley J., Mollie P. and Gabrielle C. took Second for the 4x200 Relay. Boston G., Olivia M., Vangie N. and Kaylin S. took Second in the 4x100 Relay and Veda V., Marita S., Aubrey L. and Emma D. took Third in the 4x100m Relay. We swept the 400m Dash with First, Second and Third Place finishes from Adelle R., Aubrey M. and Mollie P. Reagan V. took First and Kadence E. took Second for the 70m Dash. In the 200m Hurdles, Kaylin S. took First and Hillary G. took Second. Kaleigh A. took Second Place in the 200m Dash while Arianna H. took Third Place. In the 4x400m Relay, we took First with a Relay team of Kaylee M., Adelle R., Hillary G., and Lizzy S. We also took Second Place for our 4x400m Relay with a team of Macy V., Kiernan K., Madilyn B., and Molly B. The 4x800m Relay was won by the group of Aubrey M., Madi T., Grace F. and Chelsea J. Grace F. won the 1600m (1 Mile) and Chloe W. took Second Place. Madi T. took First Place in the 800m and Madi B. got Second Place in the 800m. The 3200m race (2 miles) was won by Chelsea J. and Jonah B. got Third Place. For our field events, we took top finishes for Pole Vault with Mollie P., Boston G. and Serenity P. Second and Third places for High Jump with Kadence E. and Vangie N. Kaylee M. took Second and Gabrielle C. took Third in Long Jump. And last, but not least, in Shot Put, Chelsea J. took First and Alexis S. took Third. Our team performed exceptionally well and we are so proud of their hard work! Congratulations to all of our runners!
